Pest Ultrasonic Extermination

Pest problems have become evident among households. And homeowners have been thinking and taking every possible means of making their home a pest-free environment. A new method is now available in the market today, it is pest ultrasonic extermination. The term “ultrasonic”, that is applied to sound, refers to anything above the frequencies of audible sound, and nominally includes anything over 20,000 Hz.

Pest ultrasonic extermination is making use of an ultrasonic sound that humans cannot hear but will make pest very uncomfortable, making them want to flee. How effective is this method? The sound makes the pest uncomfortable. Pests are startled and disorientated with the sound the ultrasonic device delivers. Ultrasonic pest control devices are especially made to produce ultrasonic sound waves that cause discomfort to pests and forces them to stay away from areas covered by the sound waves. Moreover, these devices work silently and do not cause any damage to the surrounding environment as compared to other methods of pest control such as pesticides. This would be like being right next to a huge siren for us humans that would make us want to get away from.

There are a couple of ultrasonic devices that have been used these days. One is the Ionic Pest Control which is known to be working mostly to clean the air. The ions affect the pests directly causing them to seek shelter elsewhere; also, ionic pest control helps clean the air of odors. The pests are less likely to be attracted to odors they associate with a food source; as a result, they will look for food elsewhere. Another device is the Electromagnetic Pest Control which uses the wiring within the walls, turning your whole home or office into a giant pest repeller. Electromagnetic pest control serves well by utilizing your wiring through sending a shifting signal through the wire, tuned to irritate the pests’ nervous system. This will make the pests notice something different about their environment and will feel uneasy and, therefore, avoid areas where your electromagnetic pest control is working.

As more and more pest ultrasonic devices are coming out in the market, it is important that you choose well what is best applicable in your place, so as to prevent harm to other animals or pets which may be present.
